Curtain Up
I didn’t want to let the year end without one more flight so despite the heavy rain forecast I went to spend the night at the bach. When I got there the sky had cleared and it was looking good, and I knew I had a chance of flying.

Falling Short
It’s Christmas eve and Guto and I got up the hill around 9:30am to get some early lift. Thiago had been there since 8am and said it had been good. We got in around half an hour of flying along the front of the ramp before the northeasterly died and we had to land at the northern landing spot.
It was kind of up and down the whole time with some turbulent spots which made it a little scary...
Braking Up
Daniel and I got up the ramp about 3pm. We both had things to sort out in the morning and the forecast hadn’t looked that great anyway. After lunch though things cleared up and the wind switched round to the south so we decided to give it a shot.

It had been almost 2 months and I was itching to fly. I was a little nervous that it had been so long and I would be a little out of practice, but when Daniel and I got up the ramp at about 9:30am it was blowing a good northeasterly and I didn’t want to miss it.
